TRADER JOE’S CHICKEN SAUSAGE EGG SCRAMBLE
We get all of these ingredients at Trader Joe’s, however, you can find many of them at your local grocery store. There’s really no “right” way to make this. It’s totally up to personal taste on how much veggies you want to include.
INGREDIENTS
- Chicken Sausage (I went with apple here, and it had great flavor, but I personally like the other options at TJ’s better)
- Handfull of fresh mushrooms
- Fresh Broccolini
- 2 Handfuls of Shredded or Cubed Sweet Potatoes
- Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel Seasoning
- Red Pepper Flakes to taste
- 1 Tbs Olive OIl
- 5 Eggs
DIRECTIONS
- Start with sauteeing the veggies in a tablespoon of olive oil
- Slice and add the chicken sausage
- Stir and let the veggies and chicken start to brown
- Add the eggs to the veggies and chicken
- Scramble
- Add Everything But the Bagel Seasoning (this can get pretty salty, so I always lean on the side of caution and add more later)
- Once your eggs are scrambled to your liking, remove from heat and add to a bowl. I like to add cheese and sprinkle some red pepper flakes
ASHLEY’S NOTES
This is one of my favorite breakfast dishes. I was inspired by True Food Kitchen (they have the best scrambles) but feel free to add or take out any of these veggies.
