Austin and I love a good sneaker moment. Especially now that I’m in the third trimester, I pretty much live in sneakers. Thankfully sneakers are no longer seen as a shoe to wear only at the gym, on walks or with athleisure. We are seeing them worn with dresses, trousers, skirts, etc. and I’m here for it.
A few of my favorite brands are easily Golden Goose or Tretorn and Austin loves anything from Adidas or All Birds. Golden Goose comes with a higher price tag (which is why I prefer to buy mine on eBay) but I find them comfortable, easy to wear and durable. I’ve mentioned How I Buy Golden Goose Sneakers on eBay back in this post from December and still continue to shop eBay first when searching for a specific style or hoping to score a discount. I’m sharing a few styles we have our eye on this spring along with a few tips to keep in mind when shopping on eBay.
SNEAKER TRENDS HAPPENING ON EBAY
FOR HER:
This is probably my favorite and most worn sneaker brand. When shopping on eBay, be sure to filter your search and look for reputable sellers. I always read customer reviews and look to see how long they’ve been an active seller. When shopping for Golden Goose, it’s important to keep these two things in mind. 1. Know your size. GG sneakers tend to run a little small. I wear a 39 and I am usually an 8-8.5. And 2. Use the eBay filters to make your search easier. I always filter down by location, “Buy It Now”, price and size and color. I love the Golden Goose New Old School Sneaker or the Golden Goose May Sneaker.
I always recommend Tretorn for women who want the edgy or trendy sneaker, but at a better price point. I think the Tretorn Women’s Nylite is so much fun with the gold stars but also love the python print on the Tretorn Women’s Camden. Both are a solid option and under $40.
FOR HIM:
Austin has had these Stan Smith Adidas Sneakers for a couple of years now and he still continues to wear them every spring and summer. They run TTS for men, and he finds them pretty comfortable. He’s worn them traveling, to Disney and running through the airport (hey, we’ve all been there right?). The all-white Adidas Superstar Sneaker is another style worth noting. Both are great choices this time of year!
Have you tried All Bird Wool Runners before? Or also known as the “Most Comfortable Shoe in the World”? These have been on my radar lately for Austin! I like that they are eco-friendly and known to be soft and cozy! I have also heard that these Wool Runners keep your feet cool in the heat and warm in the cold. How amazing is that? Not to mention they are machine washable. Definitely will be buying a pair for Austin!

Golden goose sneakers look like homeless bum shoes. Do they smell? Did you didn’t buy them on EBay? You meant Goodwill, right? Ashley, my wife and I love your style but we don’t care for the GG sneakers. Not trying to be mean. Seriously, you’re the most classy and beautiful woman blogger out there. Most women bloggers are all the same. They just blog about their ridiculously expensive outfits and there Louis Vuitton handbags. Talk about cookie cutter, dime a dozen women but not you. Honestly, the look super insecure but you have confidence. You actually have substance to your posts and you don’t seem shallow and materialistic like the others. Oh and congrats on your baby boy! Haha I have to say, I appreciate your honesty! GG sneakers aren’t for everyone and when I showed them to Austin for the first time he had a very similar reaction. I will say, they are VERY easy to care for because you don’t have to worry about them getting scraped up…they already come that way 😉
