We appreciate a good cup of coffee around here and now that iced coffee season is upon us (as if it ever went anywhere), we are making more trips to our nearby Starbucks.
Between Austin, Victoria and myself, one of us usually makes a coffee run two or three times a week. I’m a creature of habit and typically stick with my Iced Chai, but I love to see what everyone else orders. And if I’m feeling adventurous, I’ll try something new.

TEAM TTD STARBUCKS DRINK ORDERS
ASHLEY’S DRINK ORDER
AM: Grande Iced Chai Tea Latte
– 1 pump chia (I don’t like it too sweet)
– Extra ice (I order grande and ask for a venti cup for the extra ice)
– Almond Milk
PM: Passion Tea Lemonade
– 1/2 Passion Tea, 1/2 Lemonade
– 1 pump liquid cane
AUSTIN’S DRINK ORDER
AM: Cascara Cold Foam Cold Brew Black
– No vanilla syrup
PM: Iced Pineapple Apple Black Tea
– No Cane Sugar
– Splash of lemonade
VICTORIA’S DRINK ORDER
AM: Medicine Ball (Not on the menu, but most baristas know what’s in it!)
If the barista is unfamiliar with what is in the drink here are the ingredients:
Hot water, steamed lemonade, a combo of Teavana’s Jade Citrus Mint Green Tea and Peach Tranquility Herbal Tea, honey and an optional pump of peppermint syrup.
PM: Iced Matcha Latte
It’s sweet and refreshing – I find it to be the best afternoon pick me up. 🙂

I used to order dirty chai’s all the time (chai with a shot of espresso) and they were so expensive ~$8 a pop! Now I just order the shots of espresso over ice, with six pumps of chai for ~$3 and pour the milk in at the counter myself. It’s the same exact drink! If you are ordering a chai latte with only one pump of syrup, you’re paying a premium for almond milk.

No, thats the only bummer!! I only order them when I have time to walk in and wait. It’s also a mouthful, haha my order is “triple shot over ice, with six pumps of chai, in a venti cup”.
