First, how is everyone doing with the craziness happening in the world right now? Sometimes I honestly can’t even believe that this is our reality. But, Austin and I are doing our best to stay home and be positive.
We don’t want to stress too much and have George pick up on that energy, so honestly, we’re doing everything we can to distract ourselves with fun, family-oriented activities while quarantined. I figured a lot of you are going through the same emotions, so I wanted to create a little bit of a resource for you guys.
I shared a similar list in my newsletter last week but saw such a response I wanted to give this info a permanent home on the blog and on Pinterest so you can pin this post or either of the graphics below so you can save for later. Or, you can also right-click (on desktop) or click and hold (on your phone) to save the graphics so you can reference them any time!
A few of these were games and activities we used when I was teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. If you have a 3-6 year old, you’ll probably find this list the most helpful. But don’t worry, I included some baby games too! One of my favorite sites for learning is Homer. 100% education-based and makes learning actually fun for kids (ideal for ages 2-8). I also have a ton of free printables and math games pinned on my classroom Pinterest board!
I hope these activities bring some fun and laughs to your house during this difficult time. Sending prayers and all the positive vibes to everyone. Stay well!
xx, Ashley
