The big Sephora sales are few and far between and if you are itching to update your beauty routine, now is the time to shop. Sephora just kicked off their Spring Savings Event and giving Rouge members first access to get 20% off their total purchase. But not to worry if you aren’t a Rouge member — beauty Insiders and VIB members will still have a chance to shop later this week.
The Sephora Spring Savings Event is a site-wide sale, which means we’ll be able to purchase all of the products that have been patiently waiting in our carts. Almost everything, across all skincare, haircare, and makeup categories, will be discounted. Keep scrolling to see all the details, plus see a few of the products I plan on purchasing.

Below, I’ve rounded up the products I’ve tried and love from Sephora (all were purchased by me over the years) and a few things I plan on buying during the sale.
LMK if you end up trying any of these! xx Ashley
MAKEUP
FOUNDATION:
My two favorites are IT Cosmetics! CC+ Illumination Foundation and the Armani Luminous Silk. I have purchased both numerous times and they still hold a front spot in my beauty drawer. Here’s a little breakdown of both:
IT Cosmetics! CC+ Illumination Foundation — Medium to full coverage and gives the most beautiful glowy finish. This one has the added bonus of SPF 50 to protect the skin from UV rays. A little goes a long way with this one! I wear shade Light or Light Medium in the Summer. I have actually purchased this foundation 3 times!
Armani Luminous Silk — This is my “special event” foundation. It’s pricey, so I save it for dates, parties, events….you know, all the things we did pre-quarantine. It gives a beautiful medium/full coverage and feels so light on your skin. I’ve purchased this twice!
BLUSH/BRONZE/CONTOUR:
I am so picky when it comes to my bronzer and contour powder. I can’t do anything too orange and I want something that goes on really smooth and has a matte finish. Most importantly, it needs to blend well! These have proved to be some of the best in the industry…I can see why.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Bronzer in Saddle: This is one of the best powders. Apply with a light hand though, it’s really pigmented!
Kevyn Aucoin Contour/Highlight Duo: I love this cool-toned bronzer. It’s a shade lighter than ABH Saddle, so I like to wear it as a bronzer, then cut in with ABH Saddle to define my cheekbones. I will buy this again when I run out!
Papa Don’t Peach Blush: I don’t love that this has a lot of fragrance, BUT the color is truly so gorgeous. Think peachy pink with a hint of bronze. It’s subtle but gives the perfect glow. I can’t wait to wear this over the summer.
YSL All Over Glow Face Powder: This is a luminous finishing powder. It only comes in one “universal” shade which could be a little too dark for fair skin, but for me, it worked really nice. I use it on my cheekbones and to frame my face.
EYES:
Natasha Denona Mini Glam Palette: This compact eye palette includes five shades that you can blend out for a subtle nude eye look or layer for a smoky effect. I feel like every shade is wearable (if you like neutrals). The colors are also super pigmented and velvety. Highly recommend this one!
Tarte Surfer Curl Mascara: Ideal for voluminous and curled lashes — no fall out either. I found this to pair well with the Marc Jacobs Lash Primer. Apply the primer before a coat of mascara for extra-long, volumized lashes. It also conditions lashes while keeping mascara adhered (no flaking happening here). Buying another tube now!
Eyeliner: You know I’m partial to the Chanel Gel Liner BUT if you are wanting something similar and a part of the Sephora Sale, I’ve tried Tarte Sex Kitten Eyeliner and it’s a very similar formula — gel/kohl pencil with long-wear formula.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer: I still love and recommend this concealer. I sadly lost mine and have been using this opportunity to test out other brands. This is still one of my top picks. I wore shade 1 (when I buy it again, I’ll probably get shade 2 though).
Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Concealer: This is a new formula for Armani and I love the way it goes on. It feels watery and very light weight but gives a full coverage application. I wear shade 3.75.
LIPS:
Oh, lips — my favorite category here! Tom Ford is one of the most overpriced brands on the market, but I can’t get over the lipsticks. They are truly some of the best formulas I’ve tried. I never pay full-price though…I always stock up during this sale.
Tom Ford Lipstick: My go-to colors are Spanish Pink, Edie (such a pretty nude, but smaller tube than the original TF lipsticks) and Pink Dusk
Tom Ford Gloss: I have the color Crystalline (very pale nude) and it looks great over lipsticks.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipliner: If you don’t own this yet, you might want to go ahead and add to cart. This iconic shade is the “it” color for creating that perfect nude lip. It’s creamy, yet lasts for almost the entire day. It’s no wonder there’s a cult following! This $25 Pillow Talk Set is such a good buy as it comes with a mini liner and lipstick! I’ve purchased 3 of these lipliners — highly recommend!
Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick: Another favorite brand for lips. I have Liv It Up (peachy pink nude) and Kim KW (very light nude).
Summer Friday’s Lip Butter Balm: I just bought this and so far, I love it. It’s thick and creamy, but not sticky. I feel like it’s making a difference in the texture of my lips.
HAIR
Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil: Without a doubt my favorite hair product. It’s incredibly light-weight and you only need a couple of drops. It can be used on wet or dry ends!
Drybar Jumpstart Quick Dry Blowout Serum: This blow-dry serum helps reduce dry time and protects hair from heat. I like this because it’s not too heavy!
Christophe Robin Purifying Scalp Scrub: I use this once a week for a deep clean. I swear it prolongs my “blowout” between washes. It also is safe on color-treated hair! My full review on this can be found here.

Who doesn’t love a savings! I’ve always used Kat Von D liquid eyeliner and within the last 6 months, it’s really started to irritate my eyes. I’m wondering if they altered their formula. I need to find a new liquid eyeliner replacement. Any suggestions?

Hi Kaitlyn! I like the Tarte one but I’ve also heard good things about the Too Faced one. I believe the Tarte one has “clean” ingredients so that might be better on your eyes. LMK which one you try! xx AR

I use Kiko Milano Ultimate pen eyeliner, it is pretty cheap but even I have sensitive eyes I’ve never had any problem (it’s not sephora tough)
Ashley Robertson says
I’m interested — where do you buy yours? xx AR

Usually I go to buy them at the store in Madrid hahaha but I think they ship worldwide (you just have to choose in which country you’re in first) https://www.kikocosmetics.com/es-es/maquillaje/ojos/delineador-de-ojos.html (this is the link I use when buying online)

Great recommendations! Do you still use the Tan Luxe body drops? Thinking about purchasing it during the sale.
