I love the look of messy, loose curls. I often get asked how I curl my hair since I cut it (here’s how I styled it when it was longer) and figured the easiest way to show you would be through a video. I tried to be specific and detailed since I share a few tips (and things to avoid) if you are trying to achieve that piecey, “undone” curl hairstyle.
This technique also helps prolong my blow out and I can usually get 3-4 days (with dry shampoo) before I have to wash it. I actually prefer my hair on day 2 because it’s a little more relaxed and wavy.

How do you get your hair cut? Can you describe what you ask your stylist to do for the cut?
Ashley Robertson says
I ask for a blunt cut at my collar bone, we add a couple layers around the face, but not a lot. Hope that helps! xx Ashley

You’re super lucky! Your hair is gorgeous and so healthy. My hair type and color is similar to yours, fine hair but tons on hair with highlights and that T3 whirl ruined my hair, especially the highlights pieces. It’s gets too hot but that’s what makes the curls last so long. I found a way better curling wand that makes the curls last until you wash your hair and no damage at all. It’s the Lange Le Lustre titanium wand in 1 inch. I also have the 1.25 inch and it’s also great but the curls last 4 days with the 1 inch. It’s the BEST!! And the best part is no damage….
