I have been coloring my hair for many many years and it’s always been important for me to use products that preserve my color. As much as I love my hairdresser, I like to keep my salon visits at a minimum. Since I’ve colored for so long, I have to use certain products to keep it healthy and reduce breakage.

Favorite Pureology Products for Fine (but thick) Hair

My hair is fine, but there’s a lot of it. It gets heavy and can easily get weighed down by too much product. These give me volume and hydration while protecting my color!

1. HYDRATE SHAMPOO — Minty fragrance and has the best lather. You only need a small amount, this is highly concentrated.

2. HYDRATE CONDITIONER — I use this only on ends (or ears down). It gives your hair the right amount of hydration without adding any weight. If you have really fine hair, I would suggest the Hydrate Sheer Shampoo and Conditioner.

3. COLOR FANATIC MULTI-TASKING LEAVE-IN SPRAY — Use on wet hair to detangle. This thermal protecting spray offers 21 benefits including UV protection and shine. I love this product!

4. STYLE + PROTECT SOFT FINISH HAIRSPRAY — This is the hairspray I have been talking about on my Instagram Stories. If you want bouncy curls with a subtle hold, this is for you. I honestly feel like this is similar to a texture spray because it creates nice movement and drys quickly.
