It’s no secret I love a good neutral manicure. I truly can’t remember the last time I did anything bright on my nails. I know many of you also feel the same way so I wanted to round up a few of my favorite manicures over the years. A lot of these are dip powder, but you could easily show your nail tech and they could color match in gel if that’s what you prefer.
Which style is your favorite? xx Ashley
NEUTRAL NAIL TRENDS I’M LOVING
MINIMAL FRENCH
Here, I asked for Chisel 68 dipping powder (a milky pink) and white tip. In order to achieve the thin white line, I had them leave extra length while dipping. Then we filed more to get the thin, minimal look. I asked for rounded square shape. I loved this mani, it lasted me almost 4 weeks because the grow out wasn’t as noticeable.
NEUTRAL OMBRE
THIN GOLD THUMB BAND | FAUX DIAMOND ETERNITY BAND
This is one of my favorite nail styles I’ve done! I asked for neutral pink powder and a OPI Funny Bunny dipping powder. For shape, I ask for soft almond.
ALMOND FRENCH
THIN GOLD THUMB BAND
We used a neutral pink powder (I just let them pick a few for me) and white dipping powder. I kept a true almond shape for this look.
PALE NEUTRAL
THIN GOLD THUMB BAND
One of my favorite neutral dipping powders is ANC Heather 81. It looks so pretty and soft! For this shape, I kept the length a little shorter and asked for a soft almond/oval.
MILKY PINK
THIN GOLD THUMB BAND | BRACELETS
This is my favorite color for a pinky white. Here I used, OPI Lisbon Wants Moor and we went with a shorter soft almond/oval shape. I told them I didn’t want it too pointy.
