One of my favorite things to shop for is good summer basics I pretty much wear all neutrals, and while I like to test out trends here and there, I really reach for basics most.
This has always been a big request in my inbox, so I figured it was time to do an updated post with current pieces I am wearing. Here’s a few that I rotate during these warmer months:
LIGHTWEIGHT BLAZERS
I love wearing blazers year round, but the only way to actually pull it off in Texas is finding linen (like this) or thin fabrics. These looked like they would be summer appropriate with shorts.
T-SHIRTS + BUTTON DOWNS
If you don’t have a white button-down that you love, I highly recommend finding one. I wear mine weekly! I have a few that I rotate, but this one is my newest find. I am in a medium here and wish I sized up to a large so it would have a more oversized fit.
Also, if you are a t-shirt kind of gal, get this one. It’s under $50 and has the best fit. It feels expensive and is truly one of my favorite basics I wear right now.
LONG, FLOWY DRESSES
Another summertime must-have! Perfect for days when you don’t want to have to think about what you’re going to wear.
DENIM SHORTS
Thank goodness for the longer hemlines being popular. I love the biker short/Bermuda length. This is a solid list and I own almost all of these. Highly recommend this black pair….so flattering and look great with sneakers or heels.
