If you’ve tried Colleen Rothschild Beauty, you know how big of a deal their Friends and Family sale is. Everything is 25% off now with code FAMILY25 and it’s the perfect time to stock up on gifts or replenish some of your favorite skincare products.
During this sale last year, I repurchased the Micro-Mineral Resurfacing Scrub (my favorite product from CR) and the Glycolic Acid Peel Pads. PS: both are usually the first products to sell out during their sale.
Over the years, I’ve probably tired every product from Colleen Rothschild. And while they are all really good, here’s a list of the top 5 I recommend checking out from the Friends and Family 25% Off sale. My skin is sensitive, acne prone and can lean on the oily side. When I buy skincare, I want it to help with acne, combat fine lines and help give me that post-facial glow. These has not steered me wrong.
Have you tried Colleen Rothschild products before? What did you think? xx Ashey
1. MICRO-MINERAL RESURFACING SCRUB
My absolute favorite product! This is gentle enough to use on sensitive skin (1x per week) and the scrubbers are ultra-fine so it’s not going to be too abrasive. It feels tingly and gets your skin baby soft. If you have active breakouts, I would avoid this until they go away or not use in that area.
New to Colleen Rothschild or looking for a gift idea? This is the perfect into to the brand or ideal if you want to step up your travel skincare game. This set comes with all of her best sellers (like the Detox Face Mask + Cleansing Balm) and is under $100.
I’ve always talked about the importance of double cleansing. The Radiant Cleansing Balm is a great first step to remove all your makeup and prep skin. It’s gentle around eyes and helps get off stubborn mascara. You can use this as part of your double cleansing routine, or as your only cleanser. You will love this product.
4. VITAMIN C TREATMENT COMPLEX
This is unlike any other vitamin c product I’ve used. It’s a cream vs a serum and it’s formulated to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation by penetrating the epidermis 16 times more effectively than ascorbic acid. Use only in the morning and follow with sunscreen.
5. GLYCOLIC ACID PEEL PADS WITH BLUE AGAVE
If you like peel pads, these are amazing. I waited months for these to restock and was able to grab them when they had their sale. This offers a chemical exfoliaton that gently dissolves dead skin cells, allowing them to slough off the skin’s surface. Glycolic acid can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, fade hyperpigmentation, and eliminate breakouts. I use these 2-3x a week and not on the same day as the Resurfacing Scrub.
