With the holidays approaching and a busy travel time of year, I wanted to share the travel essentials I never leave home without. I packed all of this for our recent Vegas trip and it inspired me to write this up for y’all. I’m always so interested in what people pack, so let me know what your travel must-haves are in the comment section.
xx Ashley
WHAT I USE EVERY TIME I TRAVEL
Black Lounge Set: For the past year, this set has been my go-to travel outfit. I usually wear black when I travel in case of spills, etc. throughout the day. I wear a size Medium so that it’s comfortable and a little roomy.
Zip Pouches: I use these clear pouches for everything, including travel. I actually keep a couple stocked with all the travel essentials that I bring on the plane in a carry-on. I also use them for makeup, skincare, etc. They’re great for kid’s stuff, too!
Luggage Set: This all-black set has been great for us, especially for the price tag.
Hand/Surface Wipes: A must for me. I use the regular Wet Wipes a lot and they don’t dry my hands out. And yes, I’m that girl on the plane wiping my seat down.
Glotrition Beauty Elixir: This beauty elixir powder helps with hydration, skin, hair, and nails. I love it when I travel. It tastes good, too! Code ASHLEY gets you 20% off any one-time purchase if you’re not ready for a subscription.
Face Mask: I use the Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask if it’s an early flight since it’s clear and super hydrating. Other than doing my brows and mascara, I usually fly without makeup. With face coverings these days, no one will even know that you don’t have makeup on. Oh, and these Salicylic Acid Healing Patches are key if you have any pimples coming; just put them under your mask, and again, no one will see.
Lip Balm: Planes are extremely dehydrating so along with a face mask, I am usually reapplying lip balm often. My very favorite is Le Labo and I also like this one.
Hand Cream: Can you tell I take my skin seriously when flying? I use this hand cream often, especially when flying since I’m washing my hands often and trying to keep everything hydrated.
Reusable Water Bottle: I try to remember a reusable water bottle when flying so that I don’t have to buy a plastic bottle, and I fill it up after going through security. I haven’t tried this one but the collapsable option seems nice.
ALTO: If a city offers it, I love using this ride-sharing service to and from the airport. It’s like a private car service with all the amenities which feels nice on travel days (or on a special occasion). You can use code ASHLEYR10 for a discount on your next trip!
