I’m excited to kick off a new series today that you’ll be seeing on the blog about 1x a month. I don’t want to get too deep on a jeans post and I’ve already shared a bit about how I’ve been feeling in my 2021 Gift Guides, but basically, I’m in a mindset of less but better. I hit a point where I was feeling overwhelmed with STUFF, mainly in a physical sense, and I know I’m not alone after talking to some of you through DMs.
So while I’m making strides to consume less in my own life, I also want to make a few small shifts to share less with y’all too. From making sure all of my blog posts have true value for you guys (vs. feeling like I need to post because everyone else is), trying to buy more quality pieces vs. quantity and sharing more of that stuff, came the idea of TOP 3.
Each TOP 3 blog post will highlight my absolute favorite items in whatever category I’m focusing on. Obviously there are a ton of cute jeans out there, and I have more than three pairs in my closet, but when it comes down to it, we all have our favorites. If I had to recommend just a few items, in this case, jeans, these would be it.
I hope you like this new focused series because I really take whatever I recommend to y’all seriously. Let me know what you think!
xx Ash
TOP 3 | JEANS
1. AGOLDE JAMIE HIGH RISE: These are hands-down my most worn pair of jeans over the last few years. They keep making this style season after season since it’s one of their most popular and I definitely understand why. You can see how I style them here (and a million other times on my LTK).
2. PISTOLA PRESLEY JEANS: These are obviously a bit darker and more distressed than Jamie which I tend to like for colder months. I know these aren’t ideal for really cold climates but I get by fine with them in Dallas. I feel like these mix the 90s mom jeans look with a tailor feel so they aren’t too baggy or whatever. On me, the hit right at the ankle and much lower than shown on this model. You can see them on me in this blog post.
3. AGOLDE RILEY HIGH RISE STRAIGHT CROP: I like the lighter wash on these and the slightly baggier fit, while still being cinched at the ankle. I find them easy to pair with the combat boot-type boots that are in style right now, heels, sneakers and sandals. These are what I’m wearing in the picture to start the blog post – love!

I have a pair of Jamie jeans and they are one of my top 3 I wear most. But now want to try the pistola jeans. Also I couldn’t find you on Instagram for some reason you always pop up in my feed.
