Let’s talk summer beauty. Honestly, I switch things up pretty drastically when it comes to makeup during summer vs. winter because my needs are different. Also, like most of us, I like to go with something lighter in the summer months – especially if I’m going to be outside on a hot day…which is often in Texas.
After years of perfecting what’s in my summer makeup bag, I have some ride-or-die products that I buy again each season. I’ve added a couple new products into the lineup this year but for the most part, I’ve been a fan of these products for a while.
Let me know if there’s anything else with summer beauty that I can cover for y’all! I have a lot more beauty talk right this way.

MEDIUM COVERAGE MAKEUP
I don’t love foundation in the summer. Unless I have a special event or photoshoot, I’m usually wearing some form of tinted moisturizer. I like this list because I can use it for a “no-makeup makeup look” or when I’m wanting to do a date night look.
MEDIUM COVERAGE ROUTINE:
+ GloSkin Beauty C Tint
+ Iconic London Radiance Booster (I put this on with my fingers first, like a primer)
+ Hydrogrip Shadow Primer (I use this if I have a long day shooting or date night, not every day. It’s a must if you have something outside in the heat and you don’t want your eyeshadow creasing.)
+ Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Filter (this is my favorite product to contour with; I use 8 Deep)
+ Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder (lightly set under my eyes and t-zone. It’s super light so it doesn’t look like you have anything on.)
+ Dior Rosy Glow Blush
+ Rare Beauty Setting Spray
+ Nudestix Liquid Highlighter (does not crease at all and can be used as a highlighter or eyeshadow!)
+ Cali Ray Volumizing Mascara
+ Dior Brow Styler (I find this super easy to use and it gives you a natural look that you can build on)
+ Iconic Brow Silk Gel (to hold brows in place, especially if it’s hot)
+ Lancome Waterproof Eyeliner
BY THE POOL
I like to wear a little coverage when I’m by the pool or on vacation. A good facial SPF is a must and then I add a little bronzer and blush. This combo makes me feel put together, yet not overdone.
VACATION MAKEUP ROUTINE:
+ Supergoop Glow Sunscreen (This sunscreen has a little tint, but major glow which I love. Plus, it has hyaluronic acid which helps with hydration.)
+ Iconic Illuminator Bronzer Drops
+ Cali Ray Volumizing Mascara (water-resistant so it’s perf for days by the water)
+ Dior Brow Styler (I find this super easy to use and it gives you a natural look that you can build on)
+ Charlotte Tilbury Liquid Blush (in ‘Pillowtalk’…which looks good on honestly every body)
