One of my goals over the last couple of years has been to buy less. I know that seems ironic since my job is to essentially share products, but it’s importnat to me to rewear things for a few reasons. My closet has honestly always been pretty classic and versatile but yeah, more so lately I’ve been picky about what actually stays in my closet.
When it comes to those basic tops I reach for again and again, I have about 6 in rotation. Whether under a blazer or jacket, paired alone with jeans for a classic everyday look, or as something that I know will work, these are the basic tops I rewear 24/7. I’ll go ahead and link to me wearing some of these items too so you can see them on.
I’d LOVE to hear if you have any staple basic tops that I need to try out too!

BOXY CROP T-SHIRT: This is the perfect ‘crop’ if you don’t want to reveal too much but want something to hit where most high-waisted jeans lay. It comes in several neutral and fun colors and is $19, so you can’t beat it.
OVERSIZED RESORT SHIRT: Obsessed! This is actually a newer item to me and I’ve already gotten so much wear out of it. I love how it has a *touch* of masculine vibes while feeling modern, cool and easy. You can see how I’ve styled it with this look and I took a small.
LINEN OVERSIZED SHIRT: In my opinion, everyone needs a go-to blazer button-up shirt. The linen feel of this one is great. It’s currently on sale and comes in a bunch of colors!
OVERSIZED WHITE BUTTON DOWN: If you caught my Mango Spring Haul, you’ve seen me style this tunic-style button-up. It’s a classic style with a modern twist and I’ve worn it probably 10 times since purchasing it. It runs large; I took a M and wish I got a small.
Another option that I rotate frequently is my Anine Bing white button down. It’s pricey, but the material is much thicker than the Mango one and it’s held up well for years. I even wore it while I was pregnant. I’m in a small and it has an oversized fit.
CONTOUR BODYSUIT: Hands down, the most flattering bodysuit I’ve found to date. I have it several neutral colors since it’s seamless and really sucks you in while still being comfortable. A 10/10! I wear a medium and have it styled here.
HIGH NECK CROPPED TANK: My go-to tank that’s cropped perfectly for high-waist bottoms. The high neck feels chic, too. It’s similar to the bodysuit above but just in a cropped/non-body suit style which I want sometimes.
