Between ISR lessons and our plans to head back to 30A in Florida this week, I thought it’d be a good time to share my Amazon Kids Swim Guide. We have a lot of summer activities coming up in general and these are just my go-to items for the pool, splash pad, beach, etc. As always, you can find all my Amazon finds on my Storefront.
xx Ashley
We used most of these items on our last trip to Rosemary Beach and we plan to use them all summer. If y’all are heading on a beach trip soon, here’s what I packed for the family and what I wore myself.
Oh, and for those of you who were asking how ISR lessons were going – they’re going well. It was definitely rough at first (for both the kids and parents watching). Throughout the week, we’ve gone from crying getting into the pool to crying getting OUT of the pool, so I’ll take it. Austin and I both feel passionate about swim safety and are thankful we are able to put the boys in lessons. We still have a ways to go with swimming obviously but it’s a good start. Highly recommend!
AMAZON KIDS SWIM GUIDE
1. Long sleeve rash guard: The boys don’t complain about this – it’s super soft. It also has SPF which is nice.
2. Striped swim trunks: These are too cute and they’re quick-dry.
3. Sunglasses: How good are these Ray-ban lookalikes for the kids?
4. Native water-resistant shoes: The best summer shoes.
5. Airplane Float: Charlie did not want to get out of this. Even the big kids wanted a turn in the float.
6. Silicone beach toys: I underestimated how entertained these kept my boys at the beach. The bucket also folds up so it’s easy for packing.
7. Turkish beach towels: We use these for swim lessons. They’re ultra plush and cozy.
8. SPF Stick: Easy application that the kids don’t totally hate and I love that it’s mineral.
