The 10 Trends I Approve of This Fall

Happy first week of fall! Since we’re officially hitting the mark this week, I thought it was time to share my take on fall trends. I know we’re all excited about shopping this time of year, and I have to say, I’m really into the trends we’re seeing. Keep reading for the 10 trends I’m shopping for.

BALLET FLATS

This is my favorite trend to return this season. Ballet flats are easy, chic, and an easy shoe for fall. I love the details on ballet flats right now, especially mesh, metallics, and straps.

TWEED JACKETS

I’ve been into the coastal grandmother look all year, and the tweed jackets are basically the fall version of that.

CARGO PANTS

It’s taken me a minute to get on the cargo pants train, but now I’m here. Get a comfortable pair that you can style down with sneakers or up with a good pair of heels.

STRIPES

Honestly, stripes aren’t a ‘trend’ to me and are always in style. We’re seeing them everywhere, though, so I wanted to include them. It’s a YES for me.

STATEMENT JEWELRY

Jewelry right now is incredible. I’m especially into beautiful earrings, from unique hoops to mixed metals.

SILVER

Gold will be a forever classic, IMO, so it’s not going anywhere. I’m into adding silver to my wardrobe, though, and I’m doing it with jewelry, shoes, and bags.

KITTEN HEEL PUMPS

This is another ‘trend’ that honestly never went out of style to me. And I’m all for heels that aren’t 4 inches high!

SOFT BAGS

Think suede, unstructured, soft silhouettes. I’m always a sucker for fall bags, and this year is now exception.

DAINTY CARDIGANS

More coastal grandma vibes with these chic, delicate cardigans.

DETAILED BELTS

I’m still getting sold on this, but I’m getting there, so I wanted to include it.

Other trends I’m slowly warming to are red sweaters and brown leather.
